Finding Your Fit
At the Forge, we know a helmet is only as good as the warrior wearing it—and for the best look, it has to fit right. Because our builds use a magnetic assembly and high-density materials, they don't "stretch" like silicone masks. Getting an accurate measurement ensures your piece sits perfectly and stays comfortable for hours at a con or a game.
How to Measure Your Head:
- The Tool: Use a flexible tailor’s tape measure. If you don't have one, use a piece of string or phone cable and then lay it flat against a ruler.
- The Placement: Wrap the tape around the widest part of your head—usually about one inch above your eyebrowsand just above your ears.
- The Tension: Keep the tape snug but not tight.
Forge Tip: We print most helmets to a 24" head circumference but print to order so we can make them larger or smaller. When placing an order there is a spot for notes where you can add your specific size so we can scale the print to your specific dimensions.
